Diesel truck owners know that more boost means more horsepower and torque. However, with the many programmers, turbo upgrades and other methods to increase horsepower, many wonder how much is too much? One Diesel Truck World member asks what the maximum amount of boost is too much for his vehicle?
Other diesel truck owners respond with their own thoughts but typically it depends on the engine itself and the amount of modifications you have done to it. Many provided their own experiences with 30 and even 40 psi of boost.
