If it will pass Cali Emission. I''d just cut the muffler off, and leave the cat/resignator. As for a drop in, just stay away from the K&N filters. They aren''t that great on a Diesel, pretty much they let too big of particals to pass through, and end up in the turbo. Just find a good one, like a Fleetguard drop in, they flow pretty close to the same volume of air. If you don''t want to spend the money on something like a AFE, doing a search on BHAF. Its just a big filter. I know some of the guys from Texas did it last year on 3rd Gen. Hope that helps some.
